2. The backend database is PostgreSQL extension that provides vector similarity search functions.
3. “/nas_shared” in Immich binds to “/share” of NAS, this can be added as the external libraries in Immich.

For example: You can add “Photos” shared folder on the NAS as the external libraries by clicking “Administration” on the top-right users icon. Enter “/nas_shared/Photos” in the path of the external libraries, and Immich will scan the photos and videos in this folder.
